My employer offers free (mandatory) courses covering such exciting topics as “The Bank Secrecy Act”, “Privacy Notice Guidelines”, “Suspicisous Activity Reports” and more.
One course, in an effort to make things less confusing, prefaced with the following sentence.
“To make things simple, in this course, a customer will always be understood to be a consumer but a consumer will not always be a customer.”
Well that clears things up.

Come on Nat, you mean that isn’t simple for you? I mean, it really sums up my entire MBA!
