I’m responding to Alece’s post of February 9th about favorites. I’ve always had a problem picking favorites. When I was little I would even rotate stuffed animals so nobody would feel left out. So here are a few current hits, four at a time.
Favorite Places I’ve Been
- Vienna, Austria
- Rijeka, Croatia
- Budapest, Hungary
- Warsaw, Poland
Favorite Places I Haven’t Been
- Alece’s House
- Ireland
- Scotland
- Outer Space
Favorite Movies
- All things Mystery Science Theater (and that’s totally cheating)
- Lord of the Rings Trilogy (again, cheating)
- 50 First Dates
- 13 Going on 30
Books I Try To Read At Least Once A Year
- Lord of the Rings (that includes The Hobbit, Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and Return of the King)
- Anne of Green Gables (all six books that I’m aware of…. I always read these after Tolkien)
- The Ultimate Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy (which is cheating, since this is really five different novels)
- The Chronicles of Narnia (cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater)
Favorite Things About the Keys
- At least it’s not Iraq.
- Orchids are cheap.
- Fish is fresh.
- At least it’s not Iraq.
Favorite Things About being Four
- Not knowing what money means.
- Endless freetime and knowing how to use it.
- Noticing every detail about everything I see.
- Being able to hide in the corner cabinet of the kitchen like it’s my own personal fort.
Favorite Jobs I’ve Had
- Teaching Piano (2 years)
- Directing cameras for Acquire the Fire (8 months)
- Tutoring (1.5 years)
- babysitting (whenever I get the chance)
Favorite Jobs to Quit
- Talbots (3 months)
- Bath and Body Works (2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months)
- Brighton Theater (5 months)
- Kaufmann’s (3 days)
So there is my list. Ask me again in 6 months and I’ll probably have a whole new set of anwers.

I love it! I particularly enjoyed numbers 1 and 4 under Favorite Things About the Keys… And I can’t wait till “Alece’s House” can make it on the list of Favorite Places You’ve Been…
By the way, I have NO idea who said that!

Hey Natalie! I was listening to your voice today while Laura was talking to you.(She had it on speakerphone) I also heard Mike’s voice. I realized how much I miss you two. I mean, I know I have missed you this whole time; but, I guess I just had this flood of good memories that the four of us have had together come over my little brain. When will we see you again? I love you guys. Tell Mike he’s HOT!
