I don’t think I have any readers in the Brownwood, Texas area, but just in case I do, here are the show times.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 pm
Sunday afternoon at 2:30 pm
at the Howard Payne University Theatre
Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for students, free if you are HPU students or faculty.
We have slaves in the show who stand around looking intimidating, and most of them are football players. Last night during rehearsal, one of the guys was there for the first time. He said he really enjoyed the show (no costumes, or makeup) and he seemed surprised about it. He also complimented Danny (who plays Jason) on his acting. Jason gets pretty broken up at the end.
So I probably will not be posting again till next week. My parents will be arriving in town today and will be watching the Grand Dress tomorrow night.
WOO HOO!

Ditto, Friend! So glad to hear your folks will be there. Didn’t you say they are filming this?
I want a copy if that is the case!

I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never read nor seen the play Madea. Shame on me. If I were in the Brownsville area I would spend the money and come see it. It’s a classic, right? Again, shame on me.
I hope I didn’t ruin your Oklahoma experience too much. However, you are permitted to use the lyrics to Okinawa with your castmates backstage as we did years ago.
