Dear Nashville,
I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings when I left. I know it was sudden, but I was bleeding heavily from a wound to my soul, and the best kind of healing was available in my hometown.
I am coming to visit again. Very soon, in fact! Andy Davis is playing at the Exit/In. I’ve mentioned him once or twice.
Anyway, I’m driving from Michigan directly to that show next weekend, and then I’m visiting you for an entire week! It’s true! Nashville and Natalie back together again. I’m actually going to be working while I’m there, but I’m hoping to hang out with some of your residents, do a little line dancing at the Wild Horse Saloon, and… well… I have some other ideas, but we’ll see what happens when I get there.
Your last welcome was so warm and Natalie-tailored, I really am looking forward to seeing you again.
