I hate letting things go to waste.
Which is why a random box of prunes sitting in the kitchen led me to try this recipe.
When it was done, I took one look and thought “Well, at least we can order pizza pretty quickly.”
The first bite was pleasantly surprising and I even had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Because I had assumed the meal was a total bomb, I didn’t take a picture until dinner was over. So, um…. here is an incredibly unappetizing picture. But I promise it was pretty yummy. I mean, I did eat it.

haha!
We had a dish on our menu (‘we’ being place where I work) of a roast duck with a fig sauce. I’m not usually much for fruit with my meat … but in this case, the sauce was beautiful with the duck. Your dish reminded me of that. :)

My favorite Bolivian pizza is Prunes and Bacon. I would have liked your dish. Congrats for being creatively conservative.

just because you ate it doesn’t mean it’s yummy. case in point: landry ate an entire serving of boudain balls once, never realizing that the reason they didn’t taste so hot was because they had gone bad…
but girls are smarter.
also, you get major props for creativity in the kitchen. MAJOR props.
